Akshath Reddy tried hard and plaed quick inning of 24 runs of 13 balls, but other Deccan's failed to contribute enough to reach huge target of 171 runs. At the end of 20 overs Deccan managed to score 145 runs in board and lost the match by 25 runs. Kings XI Punjab registered very well desearved win over Deccan and raised their points in Points Table of IPL5. Mandeep Singh declared man of the match for his superb batting performance, he made 75 runs of just 48 balls.
