In the 33rd Game of Indian Premier League (IPL Season 5) 2012, Home team Kings XI Punjab played at their home Ground P.C.A. Stadium, Mohali with Mumbai Indians. DJ Hussey Captain of Kings XI Punjab won the Toss and Elected to Bat First and set the Target for Mumbai Indians to achieved.

Following target of 168 Runs, Sachin Tendulkar open Mumbai Indians inning with Franklin.Both played very slow inning but kept wickets in hand. Mumbai Indians lost 3 wickets in quick succession. Franklin (22 of 22 balls) and Sachin Tendulkar (34 of 29) sent into pavellion by Azhar Mahmood. Karthik also could not understand Piyush Chawla's turning ball and lost his wicket early. But, Rohit Sharma ( 50 of 30 balls) played very good quality inning and kept Mumbai Indians into game. In last few overs AT Rayudu and RJ Peterson did some fireworks from their bats and lifted possible victory from King XI Punjab. In 19th over Piyush Chawla consided 27 Runs. That was the turning point of the Match. Finally, Mumbai Indians registered very well desearved vistory over Kings XI Punjab and raised their in Points Table of IPL5. AT Rayudu declared man of the match for his quick and fantastic inning of 34 runs just in 17 balls.
